Earlier this week I conducted a vox pop, or vox populi (Latin for voice of the people). This was an interview, filmed on camera, to see how various members of the public think about thrillers. I asked them:
- What is your favourite thriller?
- What do you like about the thriller genre?
- What makes a great thriller?
Doing this I found out a great deal about the aspects of thrillers the public really enjoy watching. I took these points on board to think about what I need to put into my thriller to make it engaging and enjoying for viewers.
